The 2024 edition of SIAL, the International Food Exhibition in Paris, revealed moments of great interest and opportunity in the European food scene and beyond. The event witnessed a massive participation of buyers, with delegations of important Italian companies and global players from the large-scale retail trade. This influx of operators created a vibrant atmosphere, fostering promising exchanges and quality contacts.
The presence of Italian companies and operators once again makes Italy the undisputed leader of the Food macro sector with the largest number of exhibition stands, confirming our strength and international recognition in this field.
Compared to the past, an important innovation was the introduction of digital catalogues at the entrance to the pavilions, which simplified the search for stands and made the visitor experience more effective and engaging. Obviously, among the most interesting aspects of the fair were the new products, particularly in the meat sector, where the themes of sustainable production and product quality are trying to assert themselves.
In this sense, we at Mottolini are working hard to bring high-quality and increasingly sustainable cured meats to the tables of Italians in terms of production, involving the entire supply chain, as for example in the case of our Bresaola L'Irlandese and Bresaola La Chianina.
Consumer protection is an essential issue for us and we strive to achieve this on a daily basis. Embracing the I.G.P. and BIO certifications, as well as applying the BRC, IFS and ISO 22005 standards are proof of our concrete commitment.
Seeing that the international trend, driven by market demand, is moving towards themes that are dear to us, makes us realise that we are on the right track and repays us for the work done so far.
